Former children’s librarian living in Braga, Portugal. Sometimes terrible but tries not to be.
After 6 months of living in a new country, I was invited to a birthday party!🥳
We made it from sitting outside of the AIMA office to sitting inside the AIMA office. There are 4 people in front of us and an hour and forty minutes before the office closes for the day. I feel a little bit of hope that we might make it.
Sitting outside the immigration office in Cascais, hoping they’ll see us for our permanent residency appointment. We’re an hour and a half past the time we’re supposed to meet. If we have to reschedule it’ll take months to get another appointment. Fingers crossed!
Adjusting nicely to Portuguese life but can’t understand what other dogs are saying to him when they bark in Portuguese.
Feeling better after 2 plane rides, 3 Ubers, an Air BnB, and a cross country train ride.

Our house is under a foot of snow and it’s still coming down. If you or so you love is currently trapped in similar conditions, may I suggest watching Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein on Netflix? It’s an instant classic, tens across the board.
Google photos made a cute cartoon of some friends and me after brunch together last Saturday.
I texted this picture of Jasper to my husband and he asked why I sent him a picture of a wild hog. Have I been giving him too many snacks?
