Boiling Point: Road to Hell (2005, PC) (1/5) This is a very interesting game I hadn't heard of before recently. Feels a bit like Deus Ex + Far Cry 2. As you know, I absolutely love the photo-real texture + low-poly combo of early 2000's games like this, so I got a bit carried away with the shots!
Final Fantasy VIII (1999, PS1) (1/4) Folks, she's done it again; @videogamebeach.bsky.social is back to grace us with more beautiful PS1 houseplants, this time of the FFVIII variety.
Final Fantasy VII (1997, PS1) (1/3) Almost 2 years into this account and I can finally check off one of the most popular games of all time, thanks to our good friend @videogamebeach.bsky.social , who sent in these wonderful screenshots!
Magic Gambo (1995, PC) (Sorry for the extended hiatus! After some flash flooding in the area the basement situation got *much* worse so I've been dealing with that pretty much nonstop. Got all my PC stuff moved up into the bedroom now tho so I should be back to daily plant-posting!)
The Watchmaker (2001, PC) (1/2) (Love "realistic" PC games from this era. Simple, low-poly objects with highly detailed textures make for such a cool aesthetic. Genuinely love stuff like the somewhat poorly cut-out plant photo in the 2nd and 6th pic; gives an almost mixed media feel to it.)
Bluecup on the Run (2002, PC) I have been driving all day so enjoy this weird one posted at a weird time!
Verne World (1995, SNES) Today's shots were provided by @videogamebeach.bsky.social 🏖️, from a neat looking game that I'd never even heard of before today. Always love to be introduced to games from old systems that I thought I'd seen it all from, especially when it involves cute pixel art plants!
it's not a CRT filter, it's a few different filters meant to mimic the original model GBA LCD screen (see below). I took these on my Miyoo Mini SP and it looks very accurate to the GBA in real life! but anyway I'm out of town and the Miyoo is all I have so this is what you get lol.
