If you see me on here it's probably because I'm avoiding homework. But also I like a lot of things and to talk about them.
I love that we've called him Dexter, but I feel like we might've missed the opportunity to call him Goliath.
We have these doofy french doors in my house. They make an amazing "bee blind" for the hunting of toys by my cats. Maury is pictured here utilizing the blind.
This YouTube thumbnail perfectly encapsulates how your face looks after 20+ years of pivoting to a generic talking point about veterans. I hope Coloradans do their job and primary This guy back to Washington to his backup job in the senate. (And then primary him again in 28)
I will heed your bag warning, but when they're already smushy these are pretty delightful.
We have a well to water our lawn and it is dry this year. Our sprinkler guy couldn't get just a hose to hook up to the system so we have to rebuild the system to do city or well depending. Meanwhile, I hate grass farming. Lawn photo for scale.
This is a cat checkpoint. Relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
Post a poster you used to have in your room, apartment, or house. Roomie had this one in our living room.
This is a cat checkpoint; relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone. 🐈 They figured out how to share... for eight minutes
Recently finished my third non fiction book (goal is 12) this year. The Age of Magical Overthinking by Amanda Montell. I love her writing style. This book breaks down several types of cognitive bias. I appreciate that the book is very clear this is a human thing unrelated to beliefs. 4.75 ⭐
Thanks YouTube algorithm for figuring out we like beans and pasta. Creamy chickpea and rosemary pasta with some spinach for good measure. The video says it's $5 to make but it's more like $10 to feed 4-6. Depending on how fancy your olive oil is. youtu.be/aD0dnWztiFU?...
I was supposed to go pickup groceries at 330 and this has been the status instead. (Local time is 6 pm. Send help for my legs!)
It's the language in the thirteenth amendment, so we had to use it when we repealed it here in CO. (There was a whole explanation about it in our voting guide)
Singing Harry Connick Jr together and trading stories about the humiliations of modern medicine.
Maurice would like you to know that to WIN the game, sometimes you need to WEAR it. (Crazy old Maurice eh?)
She used the red carpet at the Golden globes to announce it! I love her acting so so much. How she embodies space and her facial expressions. Gah.
No cheating your last saved picture of a celebrity is your therapist I know he's not playing that kind of doctor right now but... check me into the clinic and sequence my jeans er genes
Oh that's right! Fantastic motivation right there. But maybe leave a few things around. Dexter agrees from that roll of butcher paper I used for one project 3 years ago.
Just some brothers, helping me feel better, while listening to some Edgar Meyer play Bach for cello on his double bass.
A little #coffeewithhunter in two pictures. Decided to crack into my birthday coffee. The Mountain's Edge Berthoud Blend (proudly roasted in Colorado) is a dark roast Sumatra and Colombian blend. Even had time to heat the stoneware and mug.
And Maurice sends you the reminder that even the small spoon can be the big one if you set your mind to it. (His vibe is cozy, I hope you are able to coze)
