18 - This is a very personal choice, but it's both Cody and May! (It Takes Two) It's a raw, awkward, believable depiction of a struggling couple that's close to divorcing. For how silly the fantasy scenarios gets, it makes growing with these two that much more satisfying.
17 - Albert Wesker (Resident Evil) What do you mean this cartoonishly eccentric megalomaniac had me hooked after being revealed as a double agent? What do you mean there's legions of fans that call him "daddy"? This goofy loser is just so fun to hate, and I love him for it!
16 - ALAN WAKE 2 I do not want to spoil anything, due to how story-driven the game is. It's an amazing experience that, although is very heavy, is absolutely worthwhile.
15 - Same case here, so I'm doing the inverse of #29. "SONG OF HORROR" was beyond disappointing. After the beginning of Chapter 3, I started to really dislike the direction of the game's puzzles and methods of exploration. I wish I liked this horror survival game, but I cant...
13 - Fear and Hunger Holy fuck, the chokehold Miro Haverinen has over me is unhealthy. Mixing the oppressive nature and taboo, archaic game design choices into an actively hostile RPG had me hooked. Played through it wth every character, unlocked every ending, and Dungeon Nights was a fun romp!
12 - It's a weird tie between Half Life 1 and Super Mario 64! The methods of storytelling and the overall experience are top notch for HL1. SM64, in my opinion, still has amazing controls and revolutionized 3D gaming. The camera system isn't intuitive, but it's far better than others say it is.
