Jaq is the leader of Cinderella's mouse friends. He is the one who finds Gus and tells Cinderella there is a new mouse in the house. He is also the first mouse to confront Lucifer and the only one willing to take the cat on. Jaq can be recognized by his orange jacket, red hat and turtleneck, and high-pitched voice. He is incredibly fond of Cinderella-or Cinderelly, as he calls her-and looks up to her like a mother or a big sister.

Did you know?
Jaq's name is pronounced differently by different characters, with some calling him "Jock" or "Jack." He responds to them all equally.

Jaq's high-pitched, rapid, almost unintelligible language was named "Mouse Latin" by Disney story man Winston Hibler.
