Wildlife Inventory: 5 rabbits. 69°F, but very humid; light breezes and fully overcast and hazy skies. Air quality considered unhealthy, so I wore a mask.

Wildlife Inventory: 1 rabbit. (Perhaps too dry, or a predator was about.) 76°F, light breezes, mostly clear skies, rather humid.

A very small rabbit, preparing to dodge into the foliage in front of them. However, given the perfect view of the fluffy tail, one might also say that the photographer has been mooned by a baby rabbit (and now you have, too).

Wildlife Inventory:2 rabbits, right after a short rainstorm. 68°F, light breezes, fully overcast. And still the air reeks of smoke.

Wildlife Inventory: only 2 rabbits, after a day of orange skies and smoke. 76°F, light breezes, partly cloudy (and relatively normal) skies.

Our skies this evening after a full day of smoke and smog.

A smallish rabbit sitting quietly beside a tree. It may not look like good camouflage, but it worked on the small terrier that walked half a block before me.

A small rabbit, in nearly the same distant spot as yesterday, out in the grass beyond the walk.

Wildlife Inventory: 3 rabbits. A sultry 85°F, about 65%RH, light breezes, fully overcast, grey skies.

Beneath the nearest tree, in the grass just below the right rear wheel of the nearest car, lies a rabbit. It is nearly centered in the image.

In the grass just in front of the white pop-up shelter, a small rabbit sits watching the viewer.

In the grass just in front of the central bush is a small brown blur. You'll have to trust me; it's a rabbit. 🐇😅

A short walkway going behind a house can be seen. Beyond it, near the center of the image, 2 rabbits lie almost invisible in the grass.

Since the lawn has been mowed, my little gardener has other duties. 🐇 🥗

A somewhat scrawny rabbit nibbles on leaves. Earlier, they were searching for black raspberries in the same area.

Wildlife Inventory part 2: 1 woodchuck,1 coyote,6 rabbits. 84°F, steamy,with moderate breezes that kept the black flies at bay. Partly cloudy skies.

A coyote looking back to see if the pesky Human is still following. The coyote is in the road, with trees on both sides.

A rather small rabbit sits in the middle of a front yard, alongside a driveway.

This is the smallest of the 3 rabbits alongside the road near the overgrown portion of the half wild block. And also the bravest.

Wildlife Inventory: 4 rabbits, including the small one tending to my lawn earlier (I think I'll call them Sam). 78°F, a bit sticky, with calm winds and partly cloudy skies.

A brick house on the left stands close to a large white shed. Between the two are several green trashcans and a yellow bin. Sitting in front of the yellow bin in the grass, a small rabbit sits eating.

A small rabbit sits at the base of a flagpole, convinced he cannot be seen as long as he sits still.

A tiny rabbit (previously softball sized), pauses in their dash to escape dangerous humans to voraciously inhale some plant leaves.

A rabbit found in my back yard, gobbling up the clover.

Wildlife Inventory: 1 rabbit. 64°F, light breezes, fully overcast and actively raining. Rain dwindled to a trickle by the end of the walk.

On the left stands a row of tall shrubs. At the end of the row is a chain link fence; beyond that, a white shed. A deck can be seen to the right of the shed. But close to the leftmost metal post of the chain link fence sits a rather damp rabbit.

A view down the easternmost street in our tiny neighborhood. To the right is the "half wild block"; the clearing is closest to the viewer. To the right are houses, just out of view. Behind the houses, though, is the river.

Wildlife Inventory: 4 rabbits - & earlier, a coyote trotted nonchalantly across my street. 74°F, pleasantly and moderately breezy, with mostly cloudy skies.

Just past the patch of brown grass sits a rabbit,facing away from the viewer.

A small but quickly growing rabbit sitting alertly at the foot of some porch steps. This rabbit was softball sized perhaps a week ago.

A rabbit sits watching the viewer on the side of the road, about to duck into the foliage. Seconds earlier, they bolted across the street at my approach.

A rabbit sits in the grass alongside a driveway, placidly eating. Once I began to move away, they were eating again.

Wildlife Inventory: 5 rabbits, 1 of which was a speedy little softball! A lovely 76°F, pleasantly moderate breezes, partly cloudy skies.

At the edge of the road and about to dash away if I come a step closer, this rabbit is ready to bolt.

Wildlife Inventory: 5 rabbits, despite the fireworks 🎆. 78°F, light breezes, mostly cloudy (it was raining perhaps half an hour ago), and a smattering of black flies along with the high humidity.

This rabbit, momentarily distracted by food, ran past me into the yard alongside a white fence.

In a strip of yard beside a neighboring house, a rather large rabbit sits eating grass and clover. The animal is past and to the right of the canoe in the picture above.

Watching carefully from a safe distance, a small rabbit sits in the clearing of the half wild block. Trees and weeds are just behind them, ready to provide concealment if needed.

Wildlife Inventory: 3 rabbits, of which 1 was softball sized. (No pic of the wee one, I'm afraid.) 89°F, calm winds, partly cloudy skies, and the black flies have arrived.

In the grass between houses sits a small wary rabbit.

In the foreground of this image are 3 relatively tall plants. A rabbit hides behind the center most, a bit to the left.

And this rabbit sits alongside this gravel driveway almost every day. They seem unperturbed by the traffic, as well as small dogs (who seem oblivious to them,) basketball players, and highly amateur photographers.

Will post Wildlife Inventory tomorrow as I got in late. But here's how I spent today: pulling another sort of inventory.

Alongside the back wall of a row of storage lockers, several wheeled black crates stand open. In the foreground are a row of bright orange chainsaw helmets, freshly cleaned and inspected. Back and to the left stands a Team Rubicon pop-up, providing a bit of shade.
