This was a fun fix: After everything else, the cable to the spark plug was bad. Thus required a complete disassembly, again, but I'm getting good at it. All good and works fine now.

That was fun. $17 for a new carburetor, spark plug, fuel lines, fuel filter and $14 for a new chain and it works fine. All done in under 2 hours of work so I'm happy with it. I need to tune it a bit more but is starts up, idles properly, and doesn't stall. #DIY

New project: A 14in Homelite 3514c chainsaw. I checked the carburetor and confirmed it needs replacement (diaphragm is bad) and ordered a new carb, spark plug, fuel lines, filter for $16 and a New chain for $13. #DIY

I thought "Wow the garden hose valve is stiff..." and then snapped the top off...🤦‍♂️ Lucky for me, there's an inside cut off valve. This may be original to the house from 1947! 2nd photo is the replacement. #DIY

Well, it blows leaves. It came with this weed wacker for $30. Fixing it is a hobby for me and quite relaxing. The weed wacker is too temperamental so I ordered a new carburetor ($20). The new fuel lines for both was another $20. So, $70 for about $250 worth of equipment. #DIY #Hobby

One of my hobbies is fixing stuff. Someone near me was selling a 2 stroke weed wacker and blower for $30, so I got it this morning. It took my an hour to take apart, clean and adjust the carburetor (it's ALWAYS the carb...) but I got it. #Hobby #DIY
