Probably the fastest I've rendered clothes, but this almost fell victim to my need to correct every detail, which would've made me not like the art anymore, but when i just let go and had fun, i finally finished! Maybe drawing my hyperfixations is good thing for me? huh....

Although, this didn't get finished immediately cuz after i rendered the clothes pretty quick, i stop streaming, and i started my perfectionist bs

I actually had alot of ambition for working on this piece initially. Mainly cuz i had rlly bad art block for a few weeks, and nothing i drew felt right, and working on this one pulled me out of that.

Doing environmental backgrounds is something I rarely do, but every time I've attempted doing them, I always ended up liking how the finished piece comes out. And I think this one is one of my better backgrounds.

This also was around the time I realized that I'm really not gr8 with anatomy, and I was hyper focusing on doing anatomy studies. Most of which came out not the way I wanted. But clearly I learned something, cuz I'm noticing that I didnt fuck up Yvonne's anatomy the same way I usually do with character art.

Despite this piece pulling me out of my art block, however, unfortunately my depression and anxiety came back hardcore, and I fell back into my old habit of being a overly critical perfectionist, stressed myself too hard, and lost all motivation for working on this.

I actually started this piece like forever ago, and I only rlly intended for it to be a doodle of some femboy bunnies. But then months later, I wanted something easy to work on and came across the initial doodle again, and so off i went lol.

But then i realized i had gotten better at anatomy and posing, so i did so much redrawing. I redid the paws, the pose, and the hair. I'm really proud w/ how i redid them, especially with the dreads(they were intended to be braids, but I didn't get to the rendering stage so they'll just be dreads for now. Crazy how despite me having that type of hair texture, I still haven't properly learned how to draw any afro textured hair styles🤦‍♀️)

I'll most likely come back to this piece again, as once again, I only stopped working on it cuz I fell into my depressin again and stressed myself too much with productivity and perfectionism.

its so weird drawing her expressive like this. In her mainline universe, she;s very particular with how she shows expressions, usually keeping thoughts to herself, and rlly lets herself be expressed freely only around ppl she's comfy with.

I actually rlly liked this design. I was slowly going insane working on this, cuz i could not figure out a good sticker design that like represents me. Also this is probs the 1st time ive actually drawn (and posted) Perry wearing clothes that r similar to what i wear irl. I think ive mostly just been drawing her with latex cuz i learned how to draw that and i went insane.
also one of my friends said something sweet about seeing my art improve over time when i showed them this, and it def did not make me tear up a little :.3
