Now spinning: the new “Moulin Rouge!” 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition with newly remastered tracks. This new pressing is on two 12” 33 RPM "Velvet Rouge" colored vinyl records. Man, I forgot just how much I loved this movie/soundtrack!
Jack White’s new album, “Frozen Charlotte”, is pretty darn great! He’s been quite prolific with his music lately and I’m here for it. Frozen Charlotte is pressed on a limited edition 12” 33 RPM “Ice Blue” vinyl record.
I started the long weekend by playing Pet Shop Boys 2024 album Nonetheless (limited edition pressing with bonus EP Furthermore) pressed on two 12” 33 RPM white vinyl records.
We used Imbibe magazine’s classic mojito recipe, opting for good rum and bitters to taste (4-10 dashes).
Tonight’s Happy Hour cocktail? Mojitos made with Hamilton White Stache rum and Bittermans Burlesque Bitters. Cheers, y’all!
Marilyn Manson announced One Assassination Under God: Volume 2 today. Several variants of the album on colored vinyl are out there, many already sold out. What fascinated me was this box set with the album on four 7” records, CD, and cassette with five prints of Brian’s unreleased watercolors.
It’s been a week… and it’s only Wednesday. It’s the last week of school and I am feeling pretty worn down. We’re enjoying a pre-dinner Sangiovese from one of our nearby wineries while our pizza bakes in the oven. Cheers, Bluesky folks!
@blueoctoberband’s FOILED 20th anniversary Deluxe LP w/ remastered audio and three bonus tracks. This deluxe version of FOILED is pressed on two 12” 180g 33 RPM Smokey translucent vinyl records and is packaged in a new gatefold jacket exclusive to this edition.
My signed copy of Matt Dinniman’s “A Parade of Horribles” arrived this evening! I finished the audiobook early last week, but am thrilled to complete my Dungeon Crawler Carl hardcover collection.
I secured tickets for us to see Blue October on their FOILED 20th Anniversary world tour through their fan presale a couple weeks ago. They’re playing FOILED in its entirety front-to-back along with a collection of songs from throughout their career. Something to look forward to in early 2027!
I had a great weekend at home after being on the run for a couple weekends. Star Wars Nite at Disneyland and a trip home for Mother’s Day. Feels like there’s so much going on these days. I would have loved to have done more with my time off, but sometimes, a whole lot of nothing is good too!
Happy Dungeon Crawler Carl: A Parade of Horribles release day to all who celebrate! I’ve been waiting months for this novel to drop and am happy to have the audiobook to enjoy while waiting for my signed hardcover to arrive. Cheers, fellow Crawlers! Now, get back out there and kill, kill, kill!
We Burned So Bright (BN exclusive edition), the new novel by TJ Klune, showed up on our porch while we were at Disneyland over the weekend. TJ Klune’s novels often reduce me to tears. This one was no exception.
My signed spot of Matt Dinniman’s DCC book 7 “This Inevitable Ruin” showed up last night. So stoked to have this autographed edition in my collection!!!

Don’t skip! Post you in another country. I’m told that The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is another country, and it’s the only time I’ve gotten to use my passport. Here I am enjoying some sun before getting into their beautiful ocean during our recent four-night cruise onboard the Disney Wish.
@duranduran’s 1993 self titled album Duran Duran (The Wedding Album) has been reissued for the first time since its original release. The 2026 reissue is pressed on two 12” 33 RPM black vinyl records, packaged in an embossed gatefold jacket. I’m so happy to finally have this album on vinyl!
I jumped on the recent Dungeon Crawler World shirt offered on Woot! It’s a great not to the Dungeon Crawler Carl series despite not being an “official” design. I’m on my second read of the series in anticipation of book eight come May 12, 2026. Such fun!!!

We returned home late last night after being away on vacation for almost a week and a half. The cast and crew of the Walt Disney Resorts and the Disney Cruise Line treated us like royalty. It was a great time that included a social media detox. much to catch up on! Hope you’re all doing well.
