Padame is the last of our three chihuahuas and at 18 has lived a great life. Now blind, deaf and weak, she has had no pain and its nearly time for her to rejoin her brothers, Jack and rango. Damn onions.

Request for Federal Investigation into Unauthorized Use of Electoral Data in Alberta

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to formally encourage the federal government to intervene and take oversight of any investigation into reports that electoral data in Alberta may have been compromised and is now in the possession of unauthorized political actors, including separatist groups.

This is a matter of serious public concern. Voter information must be protected, and any misuse of electoral data should be investigated independently, transparently, and without political interference.

I am concerned that a provincial investigation may not be sufficient given the potential involvement, association, or influence of individuals connected to the current UCP government and separatist political activity in Alberta. Even the perception of a conflict of interest risks undermining public confidence in the investigation.

As both a Canadian and an Albertan, I am requesting that the federal government ensure this matter is reviewed by an appropriate independent authority, with the goal of protecting electoral integrity, voter privacy, and public trust in our democratic institutions.

This is Bella the papillion, sometimes she steals padame's treat. Padame the chihuahua is blind and deaf, so it's not that hard. She's better now, Bella steals no more treats because she felt shame.
