So I just came across a short clip of an anime version of “Iron Wok Jan”, a “cooking battle” manga series that came out years ago. I own the entire series (in English translation), and I used to be obsessed with it. But I never found an anime of it, until now!

Just got home from my summer vacation, visiting family for the weekend of the Fourth. Road trips are okay, but they’re tiring. Next year I want to go on an “adventure” again, like a long-distance train trip or a flight to someplace I’ve never been. And I’ll try to make that happen.

Larry the Cat has now outlasted six British Prime Ministers at 10 Downing Street, since being adopted in 2011. Maybe at this point they should just put Larry in charge! 🐈 🇬🇧
