Funniest instance of that was that guy who claimed Kung Fu Panda copied his idea and sued Dreamworks only for his "original concept art" to be traced Timon and Pumbaa coloring book art.
Not sure why news accounts still post stories like this and assume these lawsuits have merit. Yes, there have been times where animated shows and movies did actually end up plagiarized but 90% of the time these people are nobodies with big egos who the studios never engaged with.
