I hadn’t seen this map before but I’m not surprised. You can still also see the west-east divide in electoral returns.

I biked the Berlin Sternfahrt today - 25 km from my Kiez to the Tiergarten, including a long stretch on the 115 Autobahn, which was closed to cars for the afternoon. Never had so much on a highway and one of the best days I have ever had in one of the best cities.

Turns out an Urban Arrow can take getting T-boned pretty well. The steering is jacked up and there are lots of scratches (including on me). Shame on the Columbus Police Department for not sending an officer because I was on a bike. PSA: drivers must yield when turning left to a bike going straight.

Schlepped the kids to and from school, went to work. A normal day of biking for me, except that normally I don’t get caught in a hail storm (the kids stayed dry and had fun). The only thing my c@r did today was get in the way of my bike getting into the garage. Happy Earth Day.

Always fun to see a hearse with my name on it parked outside my kid’s school.

Commuting to and from school is the GOAT.

A bunch of goats behind a fence next to Antrim Lake, alongside the Olentangy Trail. The goats are there to clear vegetation from the banks. Both kids like the goats, but were adamant that the goats were not as cool as the cows we saw in Vermont last week.
