In honor of Sam Neill I’m finally going to start wearing neck handkerchiefs.

For my capstone in grad school I wrote six zines on the labor movement with the intent on completing a full set after I graduated. I’m excited to say that the full set is complete and I risographed the covers this week! Here’s what they look like! #zines #labormovement #unions
Picked up my novel again after setting it aside for a few years while I finished grad school and this was the basic experience of rereading it:
Completing the active shooter module for work and it has the same vibes as those ads for mobile games that end up being nothing like the ad.

I've been spending a lot of time searching public domain images for my capstone project and stumbled across this political cartoon from the Portland Telegram in 1922 on @wikicommons.bsky.social. Oregon was voting on whether to have compulsory public school attendance.
I spent the weekend in LA with friends for AWP but we didn’t register for the conference. Instead we hung out during the days and went to offsite events and it was lovely.
