Another tip I have a cookies, chocolate cake, and cheesecake sliced in squares in the freezer and I take out a slice and add the topping of my choice whenever I need a sweet treat. 😩☺️
A few weeks ago I got to visit the Ruth E. Carter exhibit at the African American Museum in Philly and if you can go, go!! She is a living legend and the details of all of her work over the years was so inspiring but seeing the sinners costumes up close was a real treat.🥹

For the first time in over 20 years my mom will not have to send a king cake cause I’ve been practicing, and I FINALLY got it!
I have the best neighbors 🥹 They shoveled the rest of the path so I quickly packed up some mini chocolate chip and m&m cookies and pecan candy for them. It’s time to #BringBackTheBarteringSysyem
Been home all week cooking and baking for my parents and yesterday for the grande finale my mom invited some friends over for a tasting and we had tamales, chocolate chip cookies with and w/o pecans, mini cheesecakes, chocolate cake with caramel buttercream, and sugar cookies. #BlackFoodSky #Baking
