In Ontario but pining for Nova Scotia and pinting for England. he/him 🇨🇦🇬🇧citizen. Antifa means you're against fascism...that's a good thing. My cat is hunting me. Making the move here from twitter where I have the same profile name.
Saw the show of the summer last night. Hometown show in Toronto for Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Stars. Brilliant, warm, passionate, political, and hopeful...everything you'd expect from all 3. I loved it. Everyone there loved it too. ❤️
I love keeping up with the big news stories back in Nova Scotia. I think it's probably true that the more banal the news is, the better the actual place is.
Ah, the sepia-stained days of summer when the smoke from burning forests blows into town. Oakville, Ontario.
If you're Canadian, hearing this American pronunciation of "eh" may be the last straw that leads to all out war between 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 Come on Little Caesars, at least hire a Canadian to read your ad that's aimed at us. Yeah, no, not sorry.
Isn't the idea of click-bait headlines that make you want to read the article? Also, congrats on coming up with perhaps the most meaningless headline ever.
For those who missed it, the asshat parking awards were given out yesterday and this was one of the nominees.
Interesting article...on an unrelated note, may I suggest woodworking as a hobby to distract oneself during these trying times?
Hey @thedailyshow.com, how about a content trigger warning next time Cuntie Hopkins is on the show? I legit yelled out loud and spilled my drink. Also, Grace Kuhlenschmidt is bloody hilarious. Cheers.
I own this film on DVD and it's one of my all-time faves. I always viewed it as a historical thriller, not realising that future generations would view it as fantasy. When you tear down the foundations of democracy, the rest of it falls down far too easily.
I'll be rearranging my summer vacation plans because I just bought tickets to this show.
Saw Meteor Heist and Stars live in Mississauga this week. Both were fantastic and if you don't know them, do yourself a favour and check them out. Both were brilliant. Merry Xmas to everyone feeling all the feelings of living in a state of grace whilst the world around us burns. And fuck fascism. ❤️
Jays at home to the Yankees, Argos at home to the Ti-Cats, Bryan Adams at Scotiabank, I'm seeing Elbow at History...all happening tomorrow and the Lakeshore West GO line is closed for upgrades...fun.
Oh...treasonous wannabe dictators can be brought to justice? Interesting. www.cbc.ca/news/world/b...
Canadian graffiti hits different. Seen under an overpass on the Hamilton Rail Trail this Labour Day weekend. Stay classy 🇨🇦
Over the past few weeks I drove from BC to Nova Scotia, and then back again to Ontario. 🇨🇦 is a beautiful country but the most important part of it to me is my farmland in Nova Scotia, the same farm that my mum grew up on.
The sun going down tonight in Rivière du Loup, Québec, over the St Lawrence River. IFYKYK Never fails to disappoint.
I went aboard the reconstruction of the ship Hector that brought my family to Nova Scotia in 1773. Whilst on board I heard an American tourist ask the woman working there if the original had "crossed the Atlantic by sail or did it have a motor?" 1773 A motor... 🤦
