Funnily enough I’ve just replied this. Of course the media & Reform lot/bots started the avalanche, but the worst was it was finalised by his own getting cold feet & putting their positions before party.
The London Economic: “In the years ahead though, historians will likely look back on Starmer’s time in office and ask a question that already feels unavoidable: why was he so hated? The answer may have less to do with Starmer himself than with the age in which he governed.” Link to article below ⬇️
Just found this little gem… So if they’re saying people are struggling at 66, god help those that are going to be working until 70 if/when it increases again. *Around 45% of current working age adults are not saving into a pension. And over 15 million are not saving enough to retire comfortably.*
#OllyRobbins submits legal challenge over his dismissal from FCDO for not following due process. Saw this one coming tbh👇🏻
Here’s a few. Quite interesting, by no means all a success, but definite green shoots in some areas. There are lots more but they obviously work on a sub basis so… Credit: The Times for the charts
They both needed to declare it & didn’t. This forms part of the checking process. I’d also bet that he wasn’t a permissible donor at the time as he only registered to vote in the U.K. in Dec 25. He’s been bankrolling Reform for everything from office equipment to security. Not passable as gifts.
More corruption & rule breaking from #CryptoNige & Reform. “The criminal (Cottrell) who funded Nigel Farage before his election made undisclosed donations to Reform UK in an apparent breach of electoral law.” Meanwhile the SC & EC standby, wring their hands & let him restand in the by-election. 🤬
Johnson had already resigned by this point. Perhaps it was to do with him being former PM?
Read that the SC investigation into Farage has been suspended as he is no longer an MP. Looks like it’s true…👇🏻 So he’ll only face an SC investigation again if he wins the by-election now.
#NigelMirage - Mentioned Clacton 6 times in HoC in 2 years since being their MP & only 2 times in the last year - Hasn’t held one in-person constituency surgery - Hasn’t attended one Clacton Town Board Meeting Yet states he’s “always fought for their voices to be heard”. How exactly? 🤔 #Conman
Rupert Lowe attacking from the Right. I despise Lowe too, but even a broken clock is right twice a day…
Meanwhile he states they contacted his daughter. I’m not trying to excuse Farage, I despise him and he deserves it, but interesting he’s put this out there if not true. The comments are depressing at best. Grifting and corruption at their expense is ok. How can those people be so bloody stupid! 🤬
Then there’s the fact the HT was under investigation allegedly… doesn’t bode well.
I saw Alan Rusbridger so assume legit. Just goes to show. Next you’re going to tell me you’re not Kuntie and I’m not cake 🤣
but thinking someone is going to make a great PM and cut through just because he “understands the north” (and I dare say N West at that) is naive at best, ridiculous at worst. 🙄 What about the rest of the country & internationally? My sense of foreboding over AB is v real right now 🤯 hope I’m wrong
Give me strength. Times headline today 👇🏻. Did I blink and King Burnham was crowned?
Just horrific. Then there was this grim headline from the vile Daily Mail today. The language makes me want to scream. “Romping” makes it sound like a bit of fun, rough and tumble, not CSA. 🤬🤬🤬 We have so far to go to protect women & girls against this sh*te.
I think it would be difficult to say his meeting at the BoE wasn’t lobbying to benefit his donor.
Not my photo so a bit rubbish, but says a lot about why he was paid by a crypto billionaire. They wanted less UK red tape - and oddly both Farage AND Johnson have argued for that. Remember both allegedly received £1m each to fix the 2019 GE from Harborne too.
It’s all on the Parliament website. That’s how I knew he hadn’t voted since mid March. Anyway, in answer it was this. No surprise as farmers are often part of his fan base. Recall him turning up to the IHT protest cosplaying Farmer Giles 🙄. members.parliament.uk/member/5091/...
AB also told Manchester he would stay the term ⬇️. SKS did the same, but the difference is SKS would have if he’d had the choice/numbers, right up to this weekend he believed it. AB just did what he wanted for his own ego. Credit to @ericbearshug.bsky.social for the post.
Just a snippet, but there was much more when he became leader… If the media gun for you, it’s usually because they’re worried about their own skins. Pretty much zero to do with perceived competency in the job. Remember the utterly ridiculous bacon sandwich! 🙄
Apologies if people have already seen this new AG account. I’ve been MIA a bit over the weekend…
@democrat4.bsky.social A bot account. Might I suggest if you follow them (some of my mutual followers DO follow this account), you delete it. Reposts lots of people’s posts yet has ZERO likes or replies. Very weird. Please check and block.

It may not ‘save’ him or them, but given social media and online safety is something they set out to review at the start of their term, it is not their main motivation at all. This was from July 24.
Apols for the cut and paste, I’m heading out in mo, so dashing. It does appear in a quick Google search that they made Houchen step down as Chair, and implemented new governance. But how much is now effective moving forward, when £millions were lost from the land value, seems hard to fathom.
#BenHouchen “commercial terms agreed in principle for a new data centre on former steelworks site on south bank of River Tees show how publicly funded regeneration of one of UK's most deprived regions has turned into a half-a-billion-pounds-plus enrichment scheme for a couple of local businessmen…
