Trans lawyer who wants to write silly little stories. Trans men are my brothers. Don't bother with me if they're not yours, too. Christian posts marked with ⚓.
Trips to work in New Orleans are basically always more than a mile. I’m all for increasing bike infrastructure, but a lot of urbanists need to spend some serious time looking at maps of cities outside the coastal corridors to understand why biking doesn’t work for a lot of people.
Boyfriend came to visit for several days—our first time in person after dating for a very, VERY long six months (we started right before Dad fell). An absolute delight. Here is a photo of me stumped by his fiendish tricks in A LITTLE WORDY, which anyone who likes wordle should get.
Did you know that there’s an exception to the Migratory Bird Treaty that allows you to humanely remove otherwise protected species from your house if they are causing disruption or are in danger of hurting themselves? It’s true! Anyway here’s a photograph of a fireplace.
Me, an idiot: I'm bored of all these games I have been playing like mahjong I want to resub to ff14 Me, an idiot, 15 minutes after loading into ff14:
I look forward to reading, uh... anything about him. (I'm not surprised, though, since I lean extremely EO in concepts of sanctification, hamartiology, and soteriology, and that was like 60% of the quiz.)
Hippo Birdie Two Ewe, Callie! I am not an artist also I forgot how Rock is oriented so the art piece changed in scope very rapidly
Ah, yeah, I don’t think he shows up then. He plays a buddy of Maximus in the brotherhood of steel.
I'd say "Your options are to vote for a Republican, vote for a Democrat, vote for a third party that cannot win, or vote for nobody at all, and of those options the one that will contribute to the least harm by orders of magnitude is to vote for a Democrat."
I mean, you’d want your condition improved if your legs looked like this, right? Content warning for a depiction of legs with severe psoriasis.
"Come, Nerevar. Friend or traitor, come. Come and look upon the Heart and Akulakahn..."
This has been the single biggest improvement to my bsky usage since I started blocking people. It's just "following" but instead of like a thousand people it's something along the lines of 80. I still browse following, but having a small group of people whose posts I reliably enjoy is very peaceful
Necromancy peaked with this artwork. Though the description of Merriman in Susan Cooper's THE DARK IS RISING left one hell of an impression on me (not sure it was "cool"), as did Mat Cauthon from Robert Jordan's WHEEL OF TIME (definitely was "cool").
I miss my dad. (He's still improving! Just... gonna be in the rehab hospital for several months. No Christmas at the house. No real Christmas at all, honestly.) Anyway, spend some extra time with your loved ones.
I am also, apparently, a Laudian crypto-liberal! But less centrist. "Surety in salvation through Christianity but (readily) willing to accept salvation occurring through other means" pushes me far in the liberal direction, I believe, along with my stance on localizing garb and ritual.
Depends on how much hair you've got. Trust me. Curtain bangs can only do so much.
