Shade has become a must in the last 10 years or so here in S Texas. Otherwise, the water needs are through the roof, the life of the garden is very short, and the enjoyment factor is through the floor. My younger son & my husband made this for me this year and I love it!
🌱 On March 9 I took 2 leaves from each of 3 African Violets I have & put them in water. March 24 I moved them to soil as I saw no roots developing. Yesterday I noticed this. 12 wks from being moved to soil.....
This is climate change. Note we aren't cooling down at night.
