Went on a bit of a wild goose chase earlier this week to buy this shell, but the inaugural row has been completed and it feels soooo good to get back on the water.
I interrupt your doomscrolling for the absolute cutest video of the QUADRUPLET FAWNS getting the zoomies in my yard
Streets are for everyone 🤍 Really fun evening opening the Maple St Bridge to non-motorized vehicles. Saw a little girl learning to ride her bike. A unicyclist helping the Office of Neighborhood Services pick up trash. THIS is how you build community.

Had a somewhat chaotic start to my morning AND THEN Ribby surprised me in my office
I’m currently working toward my yoga teacher certification and my friends showed up at my house last night to help me practice 🥹
My most beloved all in one photo: dogs, Slick Rock burritos, Comstock Park and husband
In case you’ve ever been curious what owning a GSP is like, mine has been pointing at a nail in the wall for the last 10 minutes
First time in months that we didn’t have to heat the weights up before our workout 🙌
When the world feels heavy, hang out with teenagers. I spent the morning with seniors at On Track Academy talking about projects they’ve been working on - focused on transit, mental health, and climate - and how they’re gearing up to testify on state bills. The kids are alright 🤍
Every year on my birthday, my brother-in-law (who is from NOLA) ships me a king cake directly from Louisiana. And every year, it’s the best gift I receive. 🤤🤤
My husband and I challenged ourselves to walk at least a 5K (3.1 miles) all 31 days of December. We spent a ton of time outside with the dogs and created what we now call “treadmill date night.” Turns out, we walked 8 marathons 😅
I’ve worked on a ton of great projects this year, but perhaps one of my favorites was working with the Salish School to design the mayor’s holiday card. Students from across all grade levels submitted their designs and the ultimate winner was 8th grader Trinity. Look at the detail!
