Reading this Milton biography from one of my former professors at Georgia State. I love like 95% of his scholarship and he was my fav prof in college but it drives me nuts the way he prevaricates about Milton's politics and possible queerness.
Lilith was in my life for 18 years and my cat for 12 of those years. She woke me up from PTSD nightmares by gently nuzzling my face, sat patiently whenever I cried into her fur, and curled around my head during fireworks holidays to soothe me even though she was afraid of fireworks. That's love.
