The size of the beer deliveries today was addressed via the medium of a 14 second walk around video. I fear I have once again ordered too much beer. 90% of the two pallets was German and Belgian so fill your boots.
Little restock of Left Handed Giant and Lost & Grounded. Local legends and both with their birthday beers out. Fill your boots, it’s not like there’s rain to refresh you so you might as well have cold beer. Plus dog day afternoon is back so you can look at the doggos.

It is officially SMODFEST season! The brewery of St Mars of the Desert have graced us with this years 3 releases. Lager fans, rejoice!! SMODFEST 2026, SMOKYFEST and HOPFENFEST.
The new Adelphi releases are here and boy is it a doozy of a list. Here’s something pretty unique that I hope stays in this neck of the woods. A single cask Somerset Cider Brandy. 16yr, 55%, 345btls and aged in an apple ice wine cask.
Midgie 2026 is here! @ardnamurchanwhisky.bsky.social absolutely smashing it this year. 34% ex-bourbon barrels, 49% Ruby Port barriques, and 17% Tawny port casks, made up as 70% unpeated and 30% peated spirit.

More new whisky for a Monday afternoon. Independent bottler Tri Carragh have 2 lines for us. 12yr Teaninich (yes, another Teaninich) finished in Cheal blanc wine casks. 12yr Mannochmore finished in a super tawny port barrel. The flora & fauna bottling is ace but lets not mention the Loch Dhu release
New whisky and a new distillery to us. Founded in 2015, locates up beside shop favourite Teaninich, with spirit flowing in 2018, GlenWyvis is community owned and produce a stunning spirit. We have 2 new limited editions in from them and you really need to get on board because this stuff is great.

There’s football on tonight. Have your own hydration break at home! Got a stunning Norwegian whisky and the local ones are pretty damn good too. I care not a jot as the time it’s on is probably the only time I can take the dogs out for their evening jaunt around looking for adventure.

We are open today and tomorrow as normal during the heatwave. Couple of mitigations in place, the Turquoise thermal curtains and jet engine cooling unit are doing the lords work today. FYI parkside at Lidl do fans now. National deliveries suspended until Monday.
