not a dumb question! water-based lubes, like j and k lube, are safe to use on latex. the primary ingredient in those lubes is polyethylene oxide, which I use all the time in my slime. generally you'll want to avoid things that contain oils or fats around latex

well as with most communities you gotta start interacting with the people in there. This can be as low key as liking and sharing things you like from artists and performers, or an involved as posting your own stuff or commissioning people

i am very fortunate to not need financial support to do my messy adventures and don't currently require any assistance (emphasis on currently lol). so yeah for me just liking, sharing, occasional comment saying you like something is plenty
Depending on session size, 2-4 hours. If I'm really hustling, can probably get most sessions down to 1.5 hours. If I could leave my studio setup up in general, that'd save me around 45 minutes.
