Typical that this Guardian article about "Britain" and the "public wants change" doesn't mention the Northern Ireland/Ireland unification debate, nor the Scottish or Welsh independence movements at all. Once again a Guardian article about 'Britain' is actually really about England.

Your reminder that Scotland's 'block grant' from Westminster is not foreign aid or a gift, it's a rebate - the return of *some* of the revenue Scotland sends to London.
