time for another DSSA happy hour! this one will be on July 17th from 4-6 pm at the marketplace entrance seating area. Sip and Savor ends by 5 so if you want a drink get one before then! other neighborhoods welcome. no agenda, just hang out with other folks who like urbanism and safe streets

the current state of police enforcement in Seattle: I call to report this. I have to wait a whole minute for the phone tree to shut up before I can push the button to talk to a human. they say they will send someone. an hour later, the truck is still there, no ticket

the moment when you have to explain what a mixed use path is to the non-emergency operator so you can report that a truck is parked right in the middle of it

Seattle’s “finest.” plenty of space to park during an emergency, and where do they park? the middle of the bike lane

oh and I checked, the market is indeed still in good repair. no oil needed

same driver illegally crossing 3rd Ave. some people are really stubborn. on the other hand, you can see how easy it is to just ignore me (instead of, you know, calling 911).

always funny when drivers are mad at me when they are doing illegal things and I'm just using the bike path. it must be so frustrating to be told off just once after getting away with it hundreds of times! and I'm not even giving them a ticket! I'm literally just...in the way...
