Always enjoy reading the history of these places - is the voucher scheme wording correct though? Spend £5 for 0.01p off accommodation? That sounds less than.. ideal?!

Popped out into the land of actual tracking - 67 minutes late. Wahoo, delay compensation! But will have to set an alarm cos the system only works 24hrs after scheduled arrival (pain in the arse system - just do it automatically after submission. French system uselessness)
Wahoo, movement, 61 minutes late departure. Not that the app tells you that cos it's not live info 🤪
They've manually updated the app to say 45mins late. I mean it's not as we are still here and will be for another 5mins at least. But it's better than showing 15mins late. Imagine being at Lille waiting for this train....
Do love when systems don't talk to each other. 30min late on sncb boards, which is wrong still, but better than eurostars 15mins late showing.
Well, it's 18:27 and no further announcements or updates and still to go through passport control. This is what happens when you rely on a purely manual delay system on your app and pretend that it's anything otherwise. I absolutely hate how eurostar treats passengers.
Theyve started letting your train go through to security and everyone has to go into manual lane as the e-gates have remained down. This is where we still are lol
The station announced a 20min delay at time of departure. I mean I've only just got through security so this was very optimistic on their behalf. Should be a good 60min delay for some compensation tho.
Train advertised to depart in 10mins. No announcements or delays input in system to reduce the stress of those around me (i know they wait). Always always piss poor communications from eurostar (off board). Regular occurrence cos they're shit.
I have a feeling that my eurostar, due to depart in 35mins, will not be doing so. Happens everyday now. EES is not fit for purpose and the UK was fucking stupid for a) demanding it and b) brexit so it affected them too
Ah the compulsory reservations are on the Frankfurt - Brussels route again this summer. Issue is... well there's no way to cancel them or amend if you won't travel on train. The result? Well it's a "full" train and cannot board without ressie but the carriage is 4/5s empty leaving Cologne 🤪
Thank god for that. I was wondering when Thames Water would make profit for its poor shareholders again. And they've managed it by only adding £1.7bn to its debt pile! Glad nothing has changed whatsoever. Good company xxx
SNCF showing up themselves again. Sent an email saying people are using their brand for phishing and to be careful And then leads to show multiple different email addresses of slightly different varieties to show which ones are legit. Well, you're creating your own problem here too...
Not difficult. But I bet they dont have someone employed to do this on a weekend or some bullshit reason. I like travelling eurostar but christ they fuck me off when there's disruption cos they are so bloody poor at it
On the pride train today and this message is SO IMPORTANT It feels like the world has gone backwards in the past 12 months as the far rights voice gets louder, but fuck them. Everyone should feel free to feel comfortable about themselves, as long as they dont harm others. Not difficult init.

How many tabs SNCF had me open whilst sending me around in circles before finally allowing the delay compensation form to be completed. Stupid stupid company.
Doing the European Sleeper tonight. Apart from it being hotter than the sun, it has exceeded expectations so far. Only an hour into the journey mind!!

Big fan of the decals on the Eurostar terminal in Brussels Ghosts of stations past.. or stations that never had a eurostar service.
DB Navigator said this train is expected to be quiet... Well there's only one other person in my coach. A nice journey for me! Info screens on board are a bit silly on board with it thinking its in reverse formation. The station platform had the correct formation luckily.
Today's travel: to Legoland Deutschland! I used to work at Lego Windsor so I've always been interested in visiting the other lego parks (especially the originals), so finally ticking this one off. The older areas have real charm. The new areas, not so much.
