#WIPSnips 08/12: "heartbreak" More newsletter work today, including some recapping of what I've been up to in games I am playing. Rilla has been have a rough run recently.

My character, Rilla, has been going through a falling out with her main suitor after finding out that his inheritence had been tied to their courtship, learning this also isn't the first relationship of her's that someone has manipulated in a similar manner, learning the real reason for her break up wth her ex-girlfriend was related to their friendship also being part of a business deal, and realizing how little her ex trusted her after finding out that information.

With the Paragon game, I have been working on figuring out how to write the worlds that the players will visit. I am aiming to have a mix of worlds based on public domain stories and a couple of original settings, much like the Kingdom Hearts games that greatly inspired this project.

Ms. Claudia Brownmoore (she/her) is a merchant with a feared reputation. While nothing has
ever been proven, it has long been rumoured that she has criminal connections, and she has
done little to dispel such gossip. She starts the game off feigning affection for Giselle, as the two
of them often do business together, but she falls in love with Penelope at first sight and
eventually helps get Giselle out of the picture so that Penelope can take her place. She has an
outgoing personality.
Claudia has tan skin, fox-like ears and tail, long red hair, and green eyes.

Despite how dangerous the forest can be, it is also one of the best places to get plants that are
harder to grow in the greenhouses, so Giselle has been braving it for years. Penelope, always eager for a chance to go riding, insists on accompanying me during the trip, with our guards a

With my push, Penelope accepts Parker’s offer and Wallace is forced into silende to not
embarass himself. As the music starts up Penelope and Parker take to the floor, and I suggest
to Harley that we should join them. I only have a few days left to convinced them not to trick me
into losing my title so they can chase Penelope instead, so I am hoping that the combination of
seeing her with Parker and my efforts to charm them will pay off.

is expecting this to be a set up. I can’t blame him for that, given how Giselle normally treats him.
I can’t bring myself to do the same, though. I’d rather try to help push the two of them together
one more time.
