Expecting a lot of very insulting comparisons from certain friends...
The fact the Magic the Gathering Arena will only let me summon 250 squirrels is sheer cowardice on their part. Afraid your servers can't handle it?!?! Pathetic
I was thinking of replaying Cyberpunk for quite a while and I think this book is what pushed me over the edge. Fantastic so far.
I am very happy with those 2 in particular. You might recognise some of her music. I didn’t spend much time on my phone talking pics or videos, this is the only video I recorded.
I saw Hadestown last night. Absolutely amazing show. Really glad I took the weekend here for once because I might not be back.
The ending of this book, combined with Song for Bob from the Assassination of Jesse James movie coming up on my reading playlist almost broke me in the middle of a park 😭
We either win the Six Nations or get to watch England being hammered.
As further proof of this, the reason Tom Cruise's charater in Interview with the Vampire looks like a twink is because he fed mostly, but not exclusively, on women. See before and after.
I love the lore that vampires can transition if they exclusively drink the blood of the opposite sex, how they process the hormones in the blood. I mean I did make it up to explain my Elayne (Edgar) Markov proxy card, but it’s out there now. It’s canon.
Something I've really been enjoying this year is Park Book. So often in the past I'd bring a book with me when out for a weekend walk but I never sat down and read it. I've made a concious effort to do it this year and it's been so nice. Just 30-40 minutes in a park mid walk with a book and coffee.
Day 5: I’d probably be slightly better if I hadn’t stayed up so late the last 2 nights reading this. Absolutely amazing book.
These are such fantastic books. A Day of Fallen Night had me bawling sad then happy tears last night.
I think my favourite DnD moment was after clearing out most of a giants fortress, the last group were hiding in a room. Rather than another fight, my warlock walked down the corridor singing this 30 Intimidation Nat 20 Performance. They surrendered and to quote the DM were "permanently traumatised"
