I ordered it back in November '24. they've had a few production issues, and the Platinum Edition came out since the order was placed, so they wanted to make sure all buyers had the most updated version. it's finally happening!

#1 Steve Roach - "Empetus" (1986) This album just stands out. Difficult to say why. I guess the better it is, the less explanation needed. Cosmically beautiful melodies and rhythms that are cinematic at times, and the final track leaves you weightless, floating through the cosmos back home.

#2 Kraftwerk - "Computer World" (1981) Probably THE definitive album of 80s electronic music. "Computer Love" and "Home Computer" are iconic melodies of 80s culture, and of course "Numbers" is a breakdance/block party classic. An album that changed the game forever, and has aged magnificently.

#3 Mr. Fingers - "Amnesia" (1989) Definitive album of House Music by a true pioneer of the genre. Funky, soulful dance music and acid beats. What more could you want?

#4 Tangerine Dream - Hyperborea (1983) Tangerine Dream's magnum opus, which was the peak of their "classic" era.

#5 Jonn Serrie - And the Stars Go With You (1987) Cosmic, atmospheric ambient soundscapes. I love this album, because the use of synthesizer is very R&B like at times. Like what 80's R&B might sound like if it had an ambient counterpart. This is one of my go-to albums for a chill night.
