Going through my photos I found this little pic John Shakespeare sent to me. Bawling my eyes out - have lost too many people over the past year - but feel he is sending me a message - stop crying? listen to The Smiths? write your poetry? live?
Was looking through photos from bygone times and came across this little gem I obviously took when @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social 's Help The Witch arrived, and then proceeded to take the more eerie-lighted shot too. My brain won't remember what I took them for. [For kicks? Who knows!?]

I am beyond bereft. I first met John when my cat, Amber, won second prize in a Twitter pet competition. Then he painted The Family Portrait for my mum's 80th birthday. Pride of place on The Wall of Shakespeare. So sorry for your loss Cathy, he was a truly lovely man, and will be missed.
