Took the vehicle ferry across from south of Playa del Carmen to Cozumel and the sunset was spectacular and just wouldn't quit. I took waaay too many pictures.

No, it isn't. There is no contest when it comes to energy efficiency. Mini-splits win hands-down.

Central air wins on whole-home coverage (one system heats/cools everything), aesthetics (hidden components), and upfront cost in homes with existing ductwork. Here's the quick answer: if your home already has ductwork in good condition, central air is usually the simpler and cheaper option. If you don't have ducts, need to add AC to specific rooms, or want room-by-room temperature control, a mini split system delivers better value and higher efficiency.

Also stopped in to visit my favorite painting in a San Diego museum: Francois Boucher's Lovers in the Park.

In a lush garden, a young couple and their spaniel have stopped to rest while out for a stroll. The man, who is weaving flowers into the hair of his lover, is distracted by the appearance of a milkmaid, who has been gathering flowers of her own. The creamy folds of the seated woman's dress and the richly worked foliage of the surrounding bushes and trees epitomize Boucher's expression of Rococo style. This decorative style of art is associated with the reign of Louis XV. Boucher was also the favorite artist of the king's mistress, Madame de Pompadour, for whom he painted some of his most impressive works.

At the risk of seeming mean, I love this cover image BUT it has two major design flaws: 1. There's not enough contrast between the title/author name color and the image. In thumbnail, I can't read it. 2. The author's name is WAY TOO SMALL. Authors, your name is your brand. EMBIGGEN IT.
