As a fat woman who was a fat girl who was a fat child, I really wanted to enjoy what SACCHARINE was bringing to the table. But I’m not quite satisfied. The first half was stylistically strong. But I think there was some flawed logic in tying it all together. Thoughts from those who’ve seen it?
I found this beautiful tome at one of my favorite middle-of-nowhere used bookstores. Easiest $20 I ever spent. Let the witchery commence! #herbal #theoldways #esoteric
It’s not really “now playing.” I just wanted to show off how pretty she is. One of my favorite hagsploitation flicks found at Goodwill. A special collector’s edition Blu-ray book for just $4
Can I just say as a lifelong Chucky fan, that I love @realdonmancini.bsky.social made Chuck & Tiff New Jerseyans. #BrideOfChucky
Be jealous, or at the very least hold your judgement. First time watch. Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s CURE (1997) I know. It fell mightily between the cracks for too long. #NowPlaying #NW
Not mad: at HBO for airing HEREDITARY like clockwork. Hail, Paimon! Mad: at Ari Aster—provocateur—with his latest movies pushing humorless satire when we are still very much in the humorless satire era.
What horror movie image haunts you? 🖤 It’s 100 degrees today, which def influenced my choice.
My heart is broken. Justified having $50 of Japanese DD because buying tonight’s movie was only five bucks. Please hold your judgement. Sushi and #NW APARTMENT 7A (2024)
I know BRIGHTBURN (2019) had a lukewarm reception, but sometimes I’ll throw it on for the killer kid vibes. Not necessarily the comic book villain vibes. It’s just cruelly entertaining. Does that make sense?
Not me making sacrificial chambers for my VIP hotel guests on Animal Crossing…again.
I didn’t make this. I’m not sure who did, or I’d surely credit them. But damn, if it’s not accurate…
Slowly but surely amassing all the Vault Of Horror and Tales From The Crypt reprints.
Back issues of WEIRD NEW JERSEY in the Burlington County library circulation. Love to see it.
Here’s to all the mothers getting that first whiff of ass-scented candle gifted them today.
