Oof, that paper was a schematic at one point. Must've been ripped to shreds by mice, who got inside by way of the convenient mouse access port located at the rear of the chassis.

These Raytheon tubes look awesome. There's a bunch of crap shaking around in the bottom of that first tube though, not good.
Lid pops right off. 7x tubes, 3x ganged tuning capacitors (I think this has something to do with the fact that this is a TRF-type receiver, not a superheterodyne).
Today's $20 pickup is an Atwater Kent Model 40 radio (and its accompanying speaker), circa 1927. Previous owner said it smoked when he plugged it in. Let's take a look. 🔍📻⚡️ #radio #electronics

Gathering data with ESP32 + SCD41, scraping with Prometheus and using Grafana to show it in nice graphical format. Also capturing temp and humidity data cuz the sensor does that too, so why not?
Nearly 1800ppm CO2 in my apartment while simultaneously having gas oven + stove on. Only started going down cuz I opened windows. I knew gas oven/stove would do this but never realized the magnitude of the problem.

Found out recently they have DIY garages where they let you use their tools (lift and all) so you can do your own car repairs. Did my motor mount this morning. 😎🔧
