NOAA already admits a 60% chance. Right now conditions are neutral and water temp at the yearly average. However NOAA only puts the chance of a strong El Niño at 25%, whereas Copernicus (in Europe) puts it at 50-75%! IN KNMI's graph it predicts one close to 2016 severity. cdn.knmi.nl/system/bloxy...

When I first came to Utrecht it looked like the first image, now there's a hypermodern multi-storey bicycle park (largest in Europe I think).
Left one is Gulf of Mexico as I normally see it on Google Maps (they've added 'Gulf of America in parenthesis). The right one is the same using a VPN regionalised to North America. Sheinbaum has sued Google.
