Added 2k words to One Night Stand #9 bringing it up to 41.5k words. Added 2k to This Rotten World 13, bringing it up to 8k words. Today, I turned on the tap and the words flowed. It's always important to take a break from writing every now and then. It's better when you come back.

I've been taking it easy today. Been goofing around with some t-shirt designs... they are for sale. Link in the comments. The image is blurry for some reason... but they look better on the store. Using artwork and covers to make designs.

Got the substack up to #21 in rising literature. Pretty sure I'll top out here... unless... you want to join my cult. I mean SUBSTACK! Join my substack! That's what I meant. Yeah, that's the ticket. Right now, I got one short story, 6k words of TRW 13, and 16k words of Bardtender. With more coming.

I tend to not want to write on Fridays. One Night Stand 9 is being difficult for me. I honestly can't wait to revise it and make it weirder. Now at 39k words on it. Added 2k to This Rotten World 13. Raw pages are up on substack for my paid subscribers. 6k new words of zombie goodness so far.

Took me a bit longer to get my work done today. Went out to lunch, but still managed to add 4k words, 2k to One Night Stand 9, bringing it to 37k, and 2k to This Rotten World 13: A Tide of Blood. Now at 4k words on that one. If you want to read it, paid subscribers to my substack get early access.

Took me a minute to get my 4k words today. Added 2k to One Night Stand #9, and started writing on the next This Rotten World... gonna post raw chapters up on my paid substack if you can't get enough TRW. These are unedited and unrevised, but will give you some idea of what my rough drafts look like.

Finished my current wip with a 3.5 word sprint. Came in at 154k words of craziness. Gonna let it mellow and then revise the heck out of it. Couple of random characters dropped out of it at one point, playing around with perspectives, and the themes need amped up. Added 500 words to One Night Stand 9

Woke up with an urge to write a short story. This Indigenous horror story plays around with the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest. I like it. One hour... one story. A response to the faux patriotism that comes with this day. Enjoy. Link in comments.

Whew. Didn't want to write today. Just wanted to sit around and do nothing. Well. I did my 4k words anyway. Getting close to the end of the Franken-novel, dreading revising this sprawling, complicated story which is now at 149k words. Also added 2k to One Night Stand #9. Now at 32k words.

But before I go, I posted up chapter 3 of The Bardtender on the old substack. No one stacks subs like me. This chapter is entitled The Turnip and Its Master, in which we learn the amazing origins of a sentient turnip named Terry.

Yo, I been staring at this screen for hours, doing behind the scenes stuff. Did manage to do 4k words today, bringing my Franken-novel up to 147k words and One Night Stand #9 up to 30k words. But my eyes are bleary, and I need to quit for the day.

Today's writing fuel was spent switching my website out for a new one I built. I'm much happier with it and the interface behind the scenes. Won't you do me a solid and pop on over to jacymorris dot com? Sadly, techno stuff takes up all my writing creativity... it's my writing kryptonite.

Today's writing bounty-- hauled in a net of fourth thousand shining, squirming words. Now at 144K for my main WIP. At 28k words for One Night Stand number nine. Just trucking along, doing the work. Now watching Class of 1999. If I could remake a movie, this would be the one.

It's Monday. Time to get back to it. Got 2k words on my Franken-novel, bringing it to 142k words. Added 2k to One Night Stand Number 9... now find myself with a whole afternoon to goof around. Not a bad Monday.

Rocked out another 4k words for a work week total of 20k. My WIP is up to 140k, making it the second longest book I've written... and it'll keep growing. One Night Stand #9 now up to 24k words, almost halfway, maybe less since I don't know how long this one will be. Already brainstorming more ideas.

Had a meeting this morning with a cool person I met at Bizarrocon, talking about how to get into video game writing, something on my bucket list. Came back, banged out 4k words and 10k steps in 4 hours. Kinda tired... but I met my goals today. Gonna space out for a bit.

4k words seems harder when it's hot outside, but I did it anyway. 2k on my Franken-novel, now at 136k. 2k one One Night Stand #9, now at 19.5. One Night Stand at the End of the World is a bizarro series of weirdness for fans of Fallout who want it gorier, weirder, and with more talking doll heads.

Another day, another 4k words. 2K on my main wip, bringing it to 134k words, and 2k on One Night Stand #9, bringing it to 17.5k. Today's writing fuel, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Jaws.

Added 2k to my current WIP, bringing it to 132k words. Added another 2k to One Night Stand #9, bringing it to 15.5k, and I also thought up a way to make it weirder. All this despite an agent rejection in the morning. Thick skin is a must writers. Don't let a rejection get you down. It's the game.

Just rocked out 4k words on my 2 active WIPS. My main is up to 128k words now, heading to even weirder places. This book is a trip. One Night Stand #9 is now up to 11k words, so at least a fifth of the way through, although the pace of this one makes me think it'll be longer than the usual ONS book.
