Namaste. With respect, I don't care how many followers you have. I care about what you're doing to help those who are In Harm's Way. I am looking for ideas about Mutual Aid groups and how individuals can put the greatest amount of good into the world.
This pigeon pea plant was so exuberant it made me smile. Also, I found 3 well sprouted seeds in an apple I had for dessert this evening. They have been planted!!
In early morning, before the heat of the day, I discovered these delicate lacewing eggs suspended on a citrus leaf. A friend calls them "so much promise on a thread" while my son refers to them as "perfect dandruff. "
I am also growing chayote. Last season, one of my chayote plants went crazy and produced 3 not at all like chayote fruits. The largest weighed in at 7.5 lbs!!
I harvested the last of the beets along with baby red onions, parsnip, eggplant, garlic, potatoes, oregano, and garlic. Roasted it all with some olive oil, salt and pepper. It makes me happy when the garden helps sustain us.
I was able to record the osmeterium of this 3rd instar Anise Swallowtail larva popping up from behind the head.
