There is simply no need for this. I mean I think we all know why it's freaking hot outside, partially because we have a government that does not believe in global warming. But this is truly the hottest "feels like" that I have ever witnessed. 😔 So sick of it and it makes me cranky.

Spent the day trying to avoid American soil for a bit (airspace instead). That makes me SO SAD as a bicentennial baby. I have looked forward to the 250th for so long. I know we can get this Country back on track. 🥹 In the meantime, I'm off to more NPS units in the Midwest, Iowa specifically.🏞️

I love the LAI org. because it goes to a lot of groups like Meals on Wheels, (you get to choose where they go), or memory cares, etc. & my mom is in MC here, so the idea of someone out there like her having no one visiting etc hurts my heart. Here are some blank cards I've created 💚:

We are hiking Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Sedona! My ass is going to be whipped, and I hope I'm ready for it. But I have been doing a lot of hiking to avoid this freaking administration and the world, so ready or not! Pre gaming in St Louis!

Sipping prosecco, having a few wheat thins & crackers, re-reading all of the Christmas cards I received this year, in my coziest pajamas w/ my Basset at home. NYE certainly is different these days but I wouldn't change it after how hellacious 2025 was. Here's to hoping 2026 is better . #FDT
Saw some cool stuff up in Charlotte, Asheville, Waynesville, & the Blue Ridge Parkway area during a quick road! I'm a Thomas Dambo fan so wanted to hit the NC Arboretum before the trolls headed to the West Coast in Feb. Here are a few of the 12 I saw at the arboretum and also 1 in Charlotte! 💙
