Last year we planted a foxglove that said it was purple but the flowers were pink and white. We decided we didn’t want it and it did the whole, “if I can’t survive, my children will!” thing, so we have foxglove now. And it made so many different colors! We even have a pure white one.
Three years ago, after the landlord had a bunch of trees removed, we started the process of allowing our yard to become a haven for pollinators. A tiny patch of 8-10 daisies showed up out of nowhere and M let it grow bc I was so excited. I love daisies. This is that patch now.
Her name is Alice and I’m making iced tea with her. She’s made of Chinese black tea, blackberry pieces, apricot pieces, blue cornflower, calendula petals, apricot essence, and blackberry essence. I’m excited.
My favorite root beer? Bear Wizz. It’s made in Lake George. I love Lake George. We should visit again this summer.

I don’t know if I messed up or Chewy did, but this bag of Fruitables cat treats is comically large. At least I won’t run out of Bash’s favorite treats any time soon.
Aww! He’s getting old. 😢 He just got over a urinary tract infection and has developed IBS. But he’s just as silly as ever.
Cheap & easy: Leftover chicken Cream of chicken soup (or chicken gravy) Frozen mixed veggies Frozen biscuits Mix soup/gravy, chicken, and veggies in a baking pan. Top with frozen biscuits. Bake @ 350F for 20-25 minutes or until the gravy is bubbling and the biscuits are golden. #WhatsCooking
So I made pulled pork for dinner. Left is the pork butt. It spread out quite a bit it. The bone came right out. Right is the pile I made on a serving platter. It’s about 8 inches deep. We’ve got meat for weeks.
These two seem to be getting closer. No one is getting up. No one is getting annoyed. They’re just existing next to each other peacefully on the coveted couch cushion next to Mom.
Miss Thing is refusing to come to meal time. So I brought meal time to her. Fed is best, right? Silly girl.
