Once again, for those who are new:

IF YOU’RE SELF-PUBLISHING,
YOU’RE RUNNING A BUSINESS!

And businesses require capital.

You’re the owner and operator. You’re also the sales, accounts receivable, promotions, HR and customer service departments. You must handle shipping and janitorial services. You’re in charge of editing, cover design, formatting, printing and logistics.

If you don’t know how to do all of these things, you’re either going to have to learn or job them out. Regardless of which you choose, EVERY STEP HAS COSTS.

Believing that you can self-publish with little or no expense is a myth. Stop saying “I can’t afford” services you’re not able to do yourself. If you can’t afford to get the work done, you can’t afford to run your business.

#Craftiverse #BOOKcrafts I love making crafts from recycled bits and pieces found around the house. This one uses a round base made from a (clean) pizza box. The wreath is made of pages from an old book. The center decoration was from a live floral arrangement I dried. 1/2

Why is there a paper clip in my profile? #RESIST

In the 1940s, Norwegian students & teachers began wearing paperclips on their lapels as a way to protest Nazi occupation. This quiet action soon spread through the population along with the motto:
"Vi holder sammen," We are bound together.

The humble paperclip served as a silent symbol of connection that helped solidify the resistance. It also rattled the Nazis to no end. Fascism is brittle, dear friend, fragile, and when we stand together, it crumbles.

Resist much. Obey little.
