Ooh kittens, Reacher s4 is a barnburner. Lotsa great character motivation, characters, action. On episode two. Dig it. Ridiculously entertaining. Bonus points for showing Reacher passing the White House, as though wanting to give a certain bully a talking-to.
Gail Simone, you remain the bomb. Just picked up your Uncanny X-Men trade today ta read...
Hey, @octranspo.com —stop 3512 on Walkley has had broken glass in it for over a week.
Summer readin', all-star graphic novels— @charlessoule.bsky.social & @deanwhitecolor.bsky.social's Daredevil: Cold Day In Hell, @ryannorth.ca & Vincenzo Carratu's Hulk Smash Everything; Matt Fraction & @jorgejimenezart.bsky.social 's Batman. the hottest new Batthing, tied w. Absolute Batman.
Like Graham Jones, I too now dig this one. I'd overseen the trailer & was under the mismpression it was a High Tension premise where Mandy Lane imagined lurking killers. Amber Heard simply shimmers. Gob-smacking cinematography. Sublimely subversive. Almost a Tarantino feel to the horror. 2/2
My new fave Superman thing. You learn why Clark has never simply offed Lex. Superb. Waid, a masterful neoclassical character, spins a script that soars, sings, digs deep into their dynamic and history. Hitch slays with his cinematic art, which ALL the Marvel flicks used as a cinematic template 2/2
@markwaid.bsky.social & @bryanhitch.bsky.social 's Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor is the best Superman I've read mebbe since Grant Morrison's & Frank Quitely's All-Star Superman. Lex gets exposed to radiation that gives him incurable rapid degenerative cancer, asks Clark to cure him. 1/2

And I'm a little biased; with a spec-fic collection myself, Fear Itself. I'm in! www.amazon.com/Fear-Itself-...
I considered the diverting film a sort of hapless teen John Constantine misadventure. Anyhoo, reading it now, bow-wow. 3/3
The cashier, having originally read Jason Pargin's propulsive, wildly colloquial and self-deprecating John Dies at the End in one day, asked I read it since yesteday. I pleaded touring on vacation, and that I saw the film adaptation to no availl and he chastized me. 2/3
Well, holy hells; turns out I shoulda' read this book of, ah, size years ago, purchased at after-words new & used books in Chicago. We returned to the store the next day with our teenaged son. 1/3
Peppers stuffed with medium-ground beef, veggies and cheese.
Damn skippy. You two are the bomb. Byrne's Man of Steel redefined the comics Superman for me and my best pal Dietrich, devout Jehovah's Witness. Reared on Christopher Reeve, here we found a Clark who seismically spoke to us. I was in grade seven, or eight, suffering bullies (and perhaps puberty).
I have terrific company—Justin Ancheta, Allister Thompson & Matthew J.Stafford. Guest speaker Xio Axelrod will discuss the topic "From Pen to Platform: Author Branding in the Age of Noise." YouTube link: m.youtube.com/channel/UCUW... 2/2
Hey! Wanna hear some of my work? You can zoom or attend a terrific free writers' series next Wed., May 13, 2026, 6:30pm when I'm reading virtually with Toronto's @brocktonwriters.bsky.social. @gladday23.bsky.social. 32 Lisgar St. Reading from my Fear Itself collection and some newish poetry. 1/2
Is it just moi, or is this Free Comic Day Archie comic pretty randy?
Poetry in the Pontiac, with @ajdolman.bsky.social! This is a poetry thing happening this Wednesday! Because Shawville demanded it! Or you demanded it. But certainly organizer fellow Tree Reading Series organizer alumni Jennifer Mulligan asked us.
Hey—honoured to have a guest post on the @brocktonwriters.bsky.social blog to promote my virtual reading on May 13. brocktonwriters.com/2026/04/22/b...
Hey Andrew Quinn, @darrenmooney.bsky.social & @joeykeogh.bsky.social of The 250! FINALLY saw Halloween Ends & I agree with you. It's a big swing, little long, but brilliant. Misunderstood by detractors! Unsettling daylight kills, too. Thank you kindly. www.podbean.com/ea/dir-b9m32...
