The DNC made the right call today. Virginia reflects all of what makes America great and will test the character, ability, and vision of contenders for the Democratic Presidential nomination.
6 deaths. Thousands of violent encounters. 22,000 ICE officers. Only ONE officer has faced discipline. When the message from the Oval Office is “no consequences,” this is what you get. A federal agency operating with total impunity.
Any Senator who votes to confirm Todd Blanche as Attorney General will be complicit in the cover-up of the Epstein files.
Let me get this straight. Trump said that China pulled off “the largest compromise of election data in history.” Now he shrugs it off. But American election officials who won’t comply with his demands? His administration is threatening them with prison (1/2).
Trump and his Administration are “planemaxxing” while the American people are maxing out their credit cards to afford the rising costs created by his failed war in Iran.
This weekend I spoke to the @collegedemocrats.bsky.social 2026 Summer Convention about the chaos, rising costs, and corruption caused and enabled by Trump and Congressional Republicans. Young voters know what is at stake in November and are ready to turn out in huge numbers.
Trump is setting the stage to disrupt the midterm elections in his sore loser speech Thursday night. We can’t let that happen.
Two fathers are dead at the hands of ICE and Secretary Mullin’s response is they’re “turning up the heat on the streets”. No answers. No accountability. Just another escalation in Trump’s violent mass deportation agenda, and they’re not even trying to hide it anymore.
The Senate should listen to these survivors. Todd Blanche has put his loyalty to Donald Trump over his oath of office and his responsibility to the survivors of Epstein’s horrific crimes. He should not be Attorney General.
250 years ago, our founders wrote a radical aspiration into the Declaration of Independence — that all are created equal, endowed by their creator with rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (1/2).
Pretty much sums up this Republican Congress, doesn’t it? They’re headed home early to enjoy their 4th of July lobster while the American people foot the bill for their reckless policies.
Donald Trump tried to turn America’s 250th anniversary into his own personal birthday party on the National Mall. Turns out, Americans aren’t interested in celebrating Donald Trump or his failed vanity projects.
Really wild stuff here. 1. No, Nixon is not enjoying a historical renaissance and Watergate was really bad. 2. Yes, Trump is more corrupt than Nixon.
Trump’s beautiful green reflecting pool perfectly encapsulates both the corruption and incompetence of this Administration. A no bid contract to his Mar a Lago buddy, a guy who pled guilty to crimes involving bribery and campaign finance violations.
Joined the Providence Democrats for their Summer Solstice gathering in Tysons. I’m grateful for their hard work and commitment to electing Democrats this November.
Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures!
Thank you to the Democratic Latino Organization of Virginia for bringing together leaders and advocates for a World Cup-themed night! Virginia’s Latino community is an essential part of the coalition working to move our Commonwealth forward and help Democrats win this November.
Donald Trump has a habit of turning great institutions into vanity projects and then driving them into the ground. The best thing he could do for the Kennedy Center is leave it alone.
Friday night’s performance was something special, and I’m looking forward to another world class performance this week. Let’s go USMNT!🇺🇸⚽️
This weekend took me from Wytheville to Fairfax, and despite the miles between them, I heard many of the same concerns: rising costs and frustration with the chaos coming out of Washington.
Comer and Republicans kept Pam Bondi’s Epstein interview behind closed doors. Now he’s finally agreed to bring in Todd Blanche, but again won’t commit to doing it on the record.
I’m proud to have the endorsement of the SEIU Virginia State Council, representing frontline union members across the Commonwealth.
Had an amazing time competing in last night’s 12th annual Congressional Soccer Match hosted by US Soccer. I might have lost a step or two from my playing days, but it was great to be out there with colleagues and heroes of the game like Marco Etcheverry, Jaime Moreno, and more.
The $1.8 billion slush fund may be gone, but the special treatment for Trump and his family isn’t. Working families don’t get immunity from tax audits. Why should the Trump family?
Happy Pride Month! 🌈 I’m proud to stand with my neighbors in celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, honoring those who have fought for equality, and recommitting ourselves to the work of ensuring everyone can live openly, safely, and with dignity.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and congressional Republicans are doing Trump’s bidding. Why? They’re afraid of him.
Today, I officially became the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 11th District. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue fighting for Virginians in Washington. Now, we turn our focus to November: electing Democrats and flipping the House.
This has to be satire. No human can possibly possess this little self awareness.
