I told myself I wouldn't get overly invested in the MCU X-Men reboot, but their leading with Jean, Emma, and Scott casting is making it hard.

I am probably reading too much into publicity material, but describing Dark Sun in this way feels like a good early sign as it is coming out in an era where "existing is an act of resistance" has become an actual kind of mantra for some folks.
It's been a weird year for music for me. The only other album that came out this year that I keep coming back to really is LP4 from American Football, which is also great. New Joyce Manor too, but they started releasing songs for that last year, so it fell out of rotation early (did buy the vinyl).
Current album I can't stop listening to: LOST ON YOU by Tiger's Jaw. Good stuff.
I have many issues with the current X-line, but its greatest sin has been wasting Magneto after Al Ewing's brilliant character reconstruction in Resurrection of Magneto. You greenlight all these X-Men solo books no one asked for, but don't follow up on THIS?! What is happening?

I still remember listening to (my definitely legally purchased copy of) GOOD APOLLO for the first time while sitting at my computer in my college dorm room, and "Welcome Home" blowing my socks off, and now it's turning 20? brb, I need to swallow some ibuprofen, check my cholesterol, and take a nap.
Reminds me, does anyone know if the Star Wars manga book Dark Horse crowdfunded actually reprinted the manga, or just sketches from the manga and stuff? I found the whole campaign very confusing because on one hand it'd be like "It's back!" but it was also labeled and art book.
Eric Dane played him in The Last Stand and we narrowly dodged the James Franco bullet but still.
Since it's Star Wars Day, here are 4 Star Wars comic book series I highly recommend.
