Wondering if anyone else in the #SPNfamily just got this email from @mishacollins.bsky.social I'm very hopeful that it means he might be moving away from using Substack. (A girl can dream.)

The email from Misha says:

Me: I iust found out Monte Mader has a Substack. Which means, if l'm going to stick to my own principles, I have to unfollow her I'm so fucking disappointed.

Johanna: I've never actually followed her.

Me: It just sucks because there are a lot of people I agree with and would follow if they weren't on Substack. I have to draw the line at
Nazis.
It's so frustrating that people are ignoring that Substack is run by Nazis and funding Supremacist groups. They just keep using it anyway, even though it should go against everything they seem to be about.

Yet another reason to fucking hate Substack. 😒 I'm so sick of this shit. It's been months since I deleted my account. People shouldn't be able to add me as one of their subscribers when I don't even have a Substack account or profile.

The chat bot continued "You can unsubscribe from any unwanted publication by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of those emails. If you believe your email was added without your permission, you can report it to our Standards and Enforcement team using this link: [click here to report]."
Then it asked "Are you receiving these emails from specific publications, or are they coming from Substack directly?"
So I said "These are coming from specific publications."
To which it responded "If these emails are coming from specific Substack publications you can unsubscribe by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of each email. This will remove you from that publication's mailing list and stop future emails from them."

Then the chat bot said "If you want to prevent being added to lists without your permission in the future, you can turn on email confirmations in your Substack account settings by enabling 'Require verification to receive emails' under the Security section.
Since I couldn't find your account information, please double-check that you are contacting us with the correct email address.
Would you like instructions on how to enable email confirmations or help unsubscribing from a specific publication?"
So I reiterated "I don't have a Substack account. That's the problem. I deleted my account. So I don't understand why my email address is still on file and I'm still being counted as a subscriber to different Substack publishers."

Finally, the chat bot explained "Even if you have deleted your Substack account, publishers can sometimes add email addresses to their mailing lists if those addresses were collected elsewhere or imported, even without an active Substack account. Deleting your account removes your data from Substack, but it does not prevent oublishers from importing your email if they obtained it outside of Substack."
Then it repeated "You can unsubscribe from each unwanted publication by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of those emails. If you believe your email was added without your consent, you can report this as spam to our Standards and Enforcement team using this link: [report it here].
Let me know if you need help with anything else related to these emails."

This isn't a surprise to me. Our Daisy knew the names of every single one of her toys. If you told her "bring me Lamb Chop", she picked up Lamb Chop... In 2023 we had to say goodbye to her after 14 years. I'll miss her for the rest of my life.

When Daisy started having medical issues, she needed to wear a plastic cone for a while. My sister was goofing around one time and put a few of Daisy's stuffed animals in the cone around her face. Daisy just went along with it.

Got him out of that tiny pot and cleaned the potting medium off his roots. Then I sprayed the roots & leaves with hydrogen peroxide to kill the mold. Most of the roots look healthy. I think he's gonna be okay. I'm going to let the peroxide dry up and I'll put him in a new pot tomorrow morning.

Need to think of a name for my new orchid. 😊 His blossoms looked so pretty from across the grocery store. But his leaves are sad and some jerk trimmed his aerial roots. 😞 Then, after I got him in the car, I saw that he has some mold that needs to be dealt with. All the more reason to bring him home.

But I also really, really enjoy Bit-o-honey. And I like those Peanut Butter Kisses candies (the ones wrapped in black and orange wax paper) a lot of people seem to despise. They're made with real peanut butter. What's to hate? 🤷‍♀️ They're delicious.

This is the photo of the shirt that Briana posted on Instagram. It looks like the tag says it's a medium. It kinda surprises me a women's medium would fit Misha, but I don't know anything about the brand or their sizing. I'm not sure what he normally wears in men's shirts either.
