Just made this from one of Dr Vegan's recipes (I tarted it up a bit with my own choice of spices) but holy hell, it was better than fabulous. 😋
My favourite local tree in Mytholmroyd. Sadly, it is now a memory for some 'mysterious Nature monster' gave it a severe kicking and, as it was already a pensioner and a bit unsteady on its pins, the poor thing came crashing down. The entire valley has been gutted by its loss. 😢
Today would have been Genoa kitty's fifteenth birthday. I lost her last year on June 22nd, and it's been miserable here without her, but at least her spirit energy visits me daily, and she even leaves me whisker gifts and litter on the stairs so I know she's visited. 🥰

Well now, this was a wholly unexpected and rather marvo surprise, although I haven't the faintest idea who sent them. Not my stepdaughter, not one of my besties, so it's a mystery. A jolly nice one, though. 😊
