Holy shit. It's here, and it's gorgeous, lol. Looking forward to diving in, and rolling the idea of Ars Magica Harn around in my head 😆 #ArsMagica #ttrpg
OMG, yes. So much amazing fun within each book. And now that I actually have my shelves organized, I can find stuff, lol
Enjoying the start of my week off by finally getting around to scribbling a map of my Glorantha players new home, an abandoned valley, long abandoned & thought to be haunted, down in Beast Valley. Ironhoof has given permission so long as they leave the open lands for them #map #Glorantha #RuneQuest
Yep! In the Enūma eliš, tablet 6. www.ebl.lmu.de/corpus/L/1/2
Nope. May want to check your settings. This is what I see.
Our furbaby is certain that I only exist to supply salmon (her wet food of choice) and clean litterboxes. She'll accept pets briefly, but will often run to my wife for "correct" pets. She's a spoiled brat princess, lol. And we love her.
I got you fam. The only gender generator you need (for Glorantha, anyway, made for my table).
Too much Glorantha lately. No, I most definitely do not love big bats, lol. They do look cool though lol.
Well, when it rains, it pours, lol. Another delivery! Blade Runner is easily one of best games Free League has out there, and Replicant Rebellion looks to really expand what's possible within the world.
My Aegean kickstarter package finally came in (pictured with my existing core book for completeness). A few hiccups, but @stoogoff.com has been awesome through it.
"That duck is dynamite!" Don't mess with Humakti ducks, kids #Glorantha
Found it. Yes, they changed the name in the second beta. Its now Greater Familar. And yes, I think it was playing with the themes of HP, so probably a good call on their part.
Just grew my Glorantha collection, thanks to our tax refund. My wife has been interested in Nochet since we started in Glorantha, and Tarsh and Imther are nearby to the north. I have a feeling I'm going to find myself in a game in Nochet once our current games wrap up.
Not to mention his own personal atrocities. The two of them really were two sides of the same coin. They weren't born as a single soul split into two beings, I don't think, but somehow grew to be. Thus the only way to defeat him was to become him.
The Aldryami from Glorantha/RuneQuest are actually plants (tree folks) who dream of returning the world to the Green Age when the entire world belonged only to them. The different subspecies are different types of tree (deciduous, coniferous, or tropical evergeens like palms).
Yeah... that's pretty much on point for those folks, I think. Unless he's secretly an Uziel...
The fact that you don't know this is another shocking indictment of quality control, to be honest, but sure. As you can see in the two images below, the color of the background shifts perceptibly around the UPC, under the QuestWorlds name, and on the spine around the logo.
Of all the supers games I've tinkered with over the years, this is probably the best feeling character creation experience I've had. The powers have just enough detail to be meaningful, and just enough freedom to let you be creative. Also really easy to see how I could create new limits and boosts.
So, I spent the evening making the adult hero team from my Champions X-Men knock-off in Free League's Invincible rules tonight. Most of the adults are easy, the kids are the weirdos, but so far everything is smooth as butter, and both simpler and more robust feeling than BASH. I'm liking it.
Just got an email... I know what I'm doing tonight after work! The Alpha has all the player facing rules. Probably going to remake all my characters from my old Champions game... #FreeLeague #Invincible
So, seems like I was close but not quite right. Also, no pic, which I swear I remember, lol
I particularly like the version on the newest edition's quickstart rules, and, of course, the Mythras homage (as it started life as RuneQuest 6e).
Awesome. I've not gotten anything physical from JC (yet) although I have *almost* everything in pdf form. Some is worth picking up physical, others not as much, and now I won't be paying a ton for stuff I really dislike.
Another artist I really liked in Sartar: Kingdom of Heroes was this one. I think, based on the artist initials in the corner, that its Bernard Bittler, but I'm not 100% certain. Anyway, I've gotten us off-topic here, lol.
