If you are gifted tinned fish from Portugal & don’t know what to do with it, just go for it. I’m not usually into sardines, but these were great. I served them (& their oil) on warm, rustic brown bread. Didn‘t need anything else. Sorry, no pictures of the actual fish b/c they are inside of me now.

I had to send a package from USPS yesterday. The Post Office scene in Harlem was more chill than usual, but what made me unreasonably happy was seeing & purchasing this sheet of Allen Toussaint stamps. Beautiful! Now I just want to send a bunch of cards & letters out.

Behold Disco Moth! Yes, I’ve been calling it that for years. I took this picture in 2013!

I call this Disco Moth. A brightly colored, furry moth I saw in West Virginia in 2013. I actually thought it was dead, b/c it was motionless on the commonly used screen door for most of a day. I carefully opened its wings to take the picture. I was very surprised when it flew away hours later.

Ah yes! I recently had an experience in which I noticed my nephew laughing to himself every time I moved my head a certain way. Looked in the mirror & realized I had a ‘flapping’ type situation accompanying that particular motion. Ah life! Just think of the wonders still to come.

An Apple Memoji of me doing the ‘shrugging’ gesture. Speaking of aging, I couldn’t get the Memoji to replicate my grey hair & soul patch correctly. This was the best I could do.
