I was looking at the IMDb entry for a busted pilot from 1983 called SHOOTING STARS, with Billy Dee Williams and Parker Stevenson as actors-turned-detectives. There’s a reason it didn’t get ordered to series. But for some reason there’s a janky AI poster for it.
Today’s TJ HOOKER featured Sharon Stone as Danni Starr, in a backdoor pilot for HOLLYWOOD STAR. She’s a Hollywood Detective who frequently goes undercover as a hooker. And because MIAMI VICE was popular at the time, Danni has a pet turtle. I’d also love to know the story behind having two directors!
