Game I beat in 2026 #20: Halo Campaign Evolved I had a good time with this, played in co-op as always. Not sure if I genuinely prefer this to the original (which I only played for the first time last year) or if I'm just more invested in the series now. Campaign Evolved is still a dumb subtitle tho
I think this is the best picture I took tonight imo It's @speedballbailey.bsky.social
Game I beat in 2026 #19: Star Fox (Switch 2) A couple runs down, really enjoying this remake. I'm a big fan of the extra cutscenes, especially how they change depending on your path/actions. Gonna dip into the mission mode and maybe some online next, but yeah it's nice to have a good Star Fox again
Game I beat in 2026 #18: Aliens Colonial Marines I was gonna suffer through this on my own, but I mentioned it to my buddy and he volunteered to play though it with me. About half way through the game, he says to me "I think this is the worst game we've ever played together." He's correct.
Game I beat in 2026 #17: Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal The first in my journey to finally play through all the main R&C games that I've never beaten. Had a lot of fun with this, not sure if it's my favorite of the PS2 games (my Going Commando nostalgia is STRONG) but I liked it a lot
Game I beat in 2026 #15: Halo 3 ODST Played in co-op with two friends who have been helping me get through the Halo series since I've never played them before. Pretty neat game, although we kept having connection issues which dampened the experience a bit. The hub stuff & story structure were cool
Have to retire this laptop because the charger port is dying so here's one final sticker update
Game I beat in 2026 #14: Isopod A very short but very fun 3D platformer with a really unique moveset. The controls are strange at first, but once you get used to the momentum of it all it works out pretty well. Oh, and it has a very funny story about fighting back against capitalism.
What about one on the "Ratchet clone" that actually predates R&C? It inspired the whole franchise (source: trust me bro)
Game I beat in 2026 #13: Star Fox Zero This is maybe one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. The controls are infuriating. I thought the Gyrowing was neat but you barely use it. You spend so much time in All Range mode and the Landmaster and they just suck here. Not awful, but a mess fr
Game I beat in 2026 #11: Kingdom Hearts (replay) I had started playing this awhile back but never finished it, so I decided to boot it back up and got sucked back in. I had never actually played the final mix content before now, some cool stuff there. Full synthesis completion still sucks tho lol
