One (or more) of the producers out-kicked the coverage on this film, ‘cause it’s got a lot of talented names in it — but oof, it is lousy; and it’s no fault of anyone at Wikipedia/Netflix they list it under different genres

This is a satire with very sharp teeth, unexpected subtlety and darkness, plus amazing actors. Much better than I assumed it would be (having essentially never heard of it), and wildly overlooked (its narrow target is prosperity gospel in the Black church). It’s on Netflix

This is on Netflix through June 30. I’d never heard of it, though it’s Redford, and William Gibson wrote it. People who complain about movies where “everything’s CG” or “I already knew everything that would happen” should take a bracing faceful of this
