Look what I found!! I get to knit a #Jimothy sweater! 🧶

Made this just because …

A paragraph for the ages, folks …

If there is a lesson, it's a simple one. It turns out all of the people in charge are ignorant paranoid abusive sadistic pieces of shit, and they like being pieces of shit, you're never going to convince them to be anything else, and just once I'd like to see a history book lay out the cause of a once-great nation's decline as "Yeah, it turns out everyone in charge was a real piece of shit and it finally caught up to them. Go figure."

It seems kind of perfect for them. We kept but tweaked our kitties‘ shelter names. Turnip became Jack Turnip and Portobello is Bella. (They are 2 years apart but had the same foster mom who was on the Paleo diet, so all of her litters have veggie names.)

One of my faves …

lol our Jack loves wet wool!

“Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way” Bindweed is always determined to thrive. This little plant is blooming (small white flowers a bit like morning glories) in the crack of a sidewalk.

A metal sculpture called “The Quest” in honor of Alice Biddle, who in 1870 was the first woman to graduate from what is now Oregon State University.

Trying to crochet something other than a dishcloth or coaster … here is my start to the Maui Market Bag by @prettypeaceful.bsky.social (free on Ravelry). My husband immediately started asking for a bag for his bowling ball! 🧶
